Write a title people actually search for
Job seekers type simple words: delivery boy, security guard, warehouse helper, billing staff. They do not search for fancy titles. Use the plain name of the role, and add the area. A title such as "Warehouse helper near the market area" works better than a long internal designation. If you need many people, say so in the title.
The first two lines carry the post
Most people read only the start. Put the most useful facts there: what the job is, where it is, and who can apply. For example, tell them that freshers are welcome, that the shift is in the day, or that the job is close to a bus stop. If a worker finds their answer in the first two lines, they keep reading and they call.
List the facts, do not hide them
Honest and complete posts bring better candidates. Include these points every time.
- Work to be done each day
- Full address or the closest landmark
- Shift timing and weekly off
- Salary range and the date it is paid
- Extras such as food, transport, uniform or incentive
- Papers needed on the joining day
- The name of the person to ask for
If a part of the pay is variable, explain how it works in one line. Workers do not like surprises later. Clear pay builds trust, and trust brings referrals.
Use simple words, in the language your workers speak
Write in short sentences. Avoid office jargon. If most of your workers read Hindi or a local language more easily than English, post in that language or add a short line in it. A post that people understand quickly feels safer to them.
Be honest about hard parts
If the work involves standing for long hours, lifting, night shifts or targets, say it. People who know this and still apply are more likely to stay. Hiding the hard parts brings quick resignations, which cost you more time than a slower, honest hiring.
Respond fast and keep the post fresh
A post that is old or already filled hurts your name. Close it when you have enough people. When you get an application, reply the same day if you can. Candidates remember who answered and who did not.
Avoid these common mistakes
- Asking for a degree when the work does not need one
- Leaving the salary out
- Giving only a phone number with no area
- Copying the same post for every role
- Asking candidates to pay any fee for the job
Never ask a job seeker for money. It is wrong, and it damages the trust of everyone who uses the platform.
Test, learn and improve
Treat every post as a small experiment. Note how many calls you got, how many were suitable and how many joined. If calls are low, change the title or add the pay range. If calls are many but unsuitable, make the requirements clearer. After a few rounds, you will know the exact words that bring the right people for each role. Keep a short note of the best posts and reuse their structure.
Also think about when you post. Many job seekers look in the morning and in the evening after work. A post that is fresh at those times is seen by more people.

Before you go
Never pay anyone for a job, an interview or a uniform. Details such as pay, shift and place can change, so confirm them with the employer before you join.
Common questions
Should I write the salary in the post?
Yes. A salary range helps people decide quickly and brings more suitable calls. Posts without pay often get fewer applications and more questions that waste time on both sides.
How many roles can I put in one post?
Keep one role per post. A separate post for each role lets you describe the shift, pay and place clearly, and workers can find exactly what they want.
Is it fine to ask for experience?
Ask only if the work really needs it. For many frontline roles, a fresher can be trained. Saying that freshers are welcome usually increases the number of good applicants.
How often should I update my post?
Check it every few days. Close it when positions are filled and refresh the details if the shift or pay changes. A current post builds trust with job seekers.
